Hourly Comics Day

No posts for a while, eh? I’m debating whether/how to continue FangCentral but haven’t come to a decision yet. While I ruminate, here is my Feb. 1 in comic form.

December Hiatus

Okay, let’s get real, guys. It is December. It is a season of frantic gift-knitting, weeks worth of houseguests, traveling, illness, general chaos. The sketchbook is gathering dust and I know I’m not going to be able to post regularly this month, so why not just call it a year? Enjoy the holidays, and we’ll meet up again in January. Cheers!

New material

Just received this in the mail. Should let me watercolor on varied surfaces–testing on cardboard first. It wants 24-72 hours to cure. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Drawing practice 10/29/12

The overall drawing was bad enough to distract from the delightful details, so I’m only showing those details. Drawing with a size 0 liner brush feels like calligraphy-dancing with the canvas. Lots of room for happy accidents.
